Flinders Ranges Arkaba Walk is a member of Great Walks of Australia and is one of Australia’s bucket list walking experiences.
Set against the backdrop of the Elder Range and Wilpena Pound in the heart of the Flinders Ranges, The Flinders Ranges Arkaba Walk is an opportunity to experience the sights and sounds, the scale and space of outback Australia in a style that is exclusive and authentic.
Operating from April to mid-October, Flinders Ranges Arkaba Walk is a three day moderate graded guided walk that provides walkers the opportunity to immerse themselves in the remote wilderness of the awe-inspiring Flinders Ranges of South Australia.
Led by our experienced field guides, guests will gain insight into the region’s wildlife, conservation efforts and cultural heritage along the way. Instead of traditional camping, your small group will sleep in comfortable bush camps, enjoy gourmet fresh chef-prepared meals complemented by local South Australian wines, and spend the first and last nights in our new purpose-built Eco Cabins (from May 2027).

As you relax at your campsite, you’ll be treated to stunning sunrises and sunsets, with the backdrop of the Flinders Ranges’ iconic red rock formations. You’ll also enjoy a good night’s sleep in our new purpose-built Eco Cabins and in cosy swags under the starry outback sky.
